In the community of so-called charedim, ultra-Orthodox Jews, it is a womans duty to marry, bear children and support her family. Director Anna Somershaf documents the activities of Esty Shushan, who is trying to fight for change and equal rights for charedim women. She founds Nivcharot, a non-profit organization focused on mentoring young women, and becomes the first female charedi candidate in the Knesset elections. However, her activities have sparked a number of controversies in her own community.
