Petr Nikl and Ondřej Smeykal: O-Líheň

PERFORMANCE A REINSTALACE VÝSTAVY FLASHBACK

The current sound intervention Tran(sport)(l)ation by the Dutch artistic duo Petra Dubach and Mario van Horrik will be replaced by a performance and installation by Petr Nikl and Ondřej Smeykal, in which the artists will build on their realisations presented at the symposia in Plasy. The installation O-Hatching is the result of an improvised authorial dialogue. Within the framework of a theatrical-musical performance, the actors will gradually leave objects and artistic records in the space of the Salon as remnants of strange events. Smeykal and Nikl first met during the Hermit symposia and festivals in Plasy, and since collaborating on popular group projects such as Nests of Games, Play, and Orbis Pictus, they have continued in various constellations to this day, especially in the series of improvised performances called Hatching.
