Emil Viklický: Homage to Josip Plečnik

Concert as part of the festival dedicated to the life anniversary of the important Czech pianist and Olomouc native Emil Viklicky. In his composition Letters to Plečnik, Viklický used quotations from letters written by Alice Masaryk to the Slovenian architect in 1924-1925. Plečniks replies were not preserved because the author destroyed them after 1948, fearing punishment from the communist regime.
